A User may enter text in a language of their choice, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Japanese, then choose which of these languages they wish to send out the text in, e.g. if in France, you can enter a text in English, select translate to French before sending the message, also when a reply comes in, just select in which language you want to read.
REPLYING TO MESSAGES can be done in Private or Public Chats Rooms, only if you want to be recognized in Public Chats, then enter a name, otherwise other app users will not be aware of the sender.
YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR A REPLY TO YOUR FIRST SENT TEXT MESSAGE BEFORE CHATTING IN PRIVATE.
SENT MESSAGES have a limit to 12 per a 24 hour period, resetting from the last sent message.
Users have the option to turn off the reply button on the message sending page, if don't want to receive replies for sent messages, then turn it back on as desired.
Also to block messages in the chat rooms.
ALL MESSAGES ARE AUTOMATICALLY DELETED AFTER 48 HOURS.
MORE THAN JUST TEXT, attach a picture from your phone gallery or include a website address in your outgoing messages so receivers can easily view the website from the link.
Also you can copy the link of a YouTube video then paste in the message box.
REQUEST A PIC, simply send out a text on a subject or current event, a user can then reply and attach a pic or short video in PRIVATE CHATS, from their phone gallery.
You will find the READ ALOUD and LANGUAGE TRANSLATION features very helpful.
TO USE THE PRIVATE CHATS, select the incoming message for which you would like to respond too.
PRIVATE CHATS ARE DELETED AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 48 HOURS.

GROUP CHATS- just one person needs to send out a text message, then everyone else can join in on that conversation in the public chat room. Users may insert at least a first name in public chats if want to be known.
TO DELETE ALL MESSAGES AT ONCE, USE THE FEATURE IN THE APP OR RESET BUTTON TO DELETE ALL DATA, THEN SIGN BACK IN.
GUIDELINES: Permission is required to use your precise GPS location, this is only taken when you are using the app, Keycom does not constantly have your device location on an ongoing basis.
WHEN A USER CHANGES LOCATION AND DESIRES TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS BEYOND THE 50 KM RANGE, THEN JUST REOPEN THE APP, AND SLIDE THE BUTTON OFF AND ON TO RESET THE GPS TO THEIR CURRENT LOCATION. THIS ACTION IS ALSO REQUIRED TO MAKE YOUR PHONE VISiBLE TO OTHERS OR TO SEE THE AMOUNT OF NEARBY USERS, ONCE YOU TRANSFER FROM A LOCATION TO ANOTHER, OUTSIDE OF THE ORIGINAL 50 KM RANGE.

These posters can be placed in buildings and other prominent locations.
USE KEYCOM TO INFORM PEOPLE BEFORE THE BUS ARRIVES TO UNSCHEDULED STOPS, SO THEY ARE NOT WAITING THERE.
* SHARE A RIDE WITH PERSONS IN YOUR COMMUNITY - going to the grocery store, an event, a road trip or work, etc? Text the destination, departure time and departure location, other users can reply in private chats to discuss sharing of expenses, also may attach a pic of themselves.
* MISSING PET OR PERSON? What better way to issue an immediate alert in the neighborhood?
* CONTRACTORS - can inform area residents before commencing work in buildings/areas, or provide updates on the work progress and durations. Most people would like a text before a jackhammer starts up or notice of wet paint.
* In the event of an MEDICAL EMERGENCY, a user can text a message for someone to render assistance before EMS arrives.
* FIRE PERSONNEL - arriving on a scene can inform area residents of dangers and provide updates on fire alarm status in real-time.
